A single mother was sentenced to six months in prison and fined RM4,000 after pleading guilty to giving false information when applying for a MyKad for a child, believed to be an undocumented migrant.
Speaking at a special media conference today, Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said that based on the decision approved during today's cabinet meeting, undocumented workers who wish to return to their home countries would be allowed to do so after settling compounds for the immigration offences that they committed.
