Terengganu Cycling Team’s Jesse Ewart won Stage 4 of the Tour of Thailand today after edging Thailand Continental Cycling Team’s Thanakhan Chaiyasombat at the finish line.
TSG rider told Scoop that a gruelling uphill route over 30.3km shook his confidence before the race but a burning desire to retain his title pushed the 24-year-old to victory.
TSG chief executive officer Che Ku Mohd Izmuddin Che Ku Mahmood said the trio are Andreas Miltiades of Cyprus, Eritrea climb specialist Merhawi Kudus Ghebrenedhin and former Team Sapura Cycling ace Nur Aiman Rosli, who replaces Mohd Shahrul Mat Amin.
