This is the story of young cricket prodigy Tristan Aashish Fernandez Kumar, who has been selected for the 25-player squad in the second phase of training for Kuala Lumpur, ahead of the upcoming Malaysia Games (Sukma) which is scheduled to take place in August this year.
This initiative, launched in May, has raised RM97,000 to date and it anticipates reaching a target of RM200,000 through monthly RM10 donations from its members in November and December.
It's going to be a hectic two-days of football action as a grand total of 80 teams take each other on at the 17th edition of the Datuk Chu Ah Nge International Junior Soccer Tournament.
