Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah has ordered that the missions set under the New Industrial Master Plan 2030 (NIMP 2030) be successfully implemented for the well-being and economic prosperity of the people and nation.
The New Industrial Master Plan 2030, which is a key component of the Madani Economy, among others, will focus on improving the lives of the people with expected higher returns from the country’s economic targets, said Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
The New Industrial Master Plan 2030 adopts a mission-based approach, unlike the previous industrial transformation plan and three master plans since 1986, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
The New Industrial Masterplan 2030 (NIMP 2030) aims to shape a robust and resilient manufacturing sector that will generate broad-based benefits for a diverse range of stakeholders, Investment, Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz said today.
The government is fully committed to supporting the implementation of the New Industrial Masterplan 2030 (NIMP 2030), which requires an estimated total investment of RM95 billion over seven years.
