Over the next 11 days, starting today, it is anticipated that over 1.9 million vehicles will travel along the KL-Karak Expressway, with an additional 882,000 vehicles projected to use the East Coast Expressway Phase 1 (LPT 1)
The incident, which occurred at 7.50am, resulted in a major hour-long traffic congestion as the tour bus overturned and blocked the entire eastbound lane at the 51.4km point of the highway.
The government plans to implement the Multi-Lane Free Flow (MLFF) system at toll plazas along the Kuala Lumpur-Karak (KLK) highway to reduce the likelihood of traffic jams along its length.
