The Pahang government is setting up five permanent flood relief centres, costing almost RM31 million, in five districts. This is aimed to ensure the comfort of flood-affected residents, said Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail.
In anticipation of flooding in Selangor as the monsoon season approaches, the state government has instructed the Social Welfare Department to prepare aid for approximately 10,000 victims.
Teo Nie Ching said the ministry was prepared for the floods and urged users to file a complaint if there was a disruption of telecommunication services in their area.
