The number of dengue fever cases increased to 3,572 in the 8th epidemiological week (ME08), for the period February 18 to 24, compared to 3,483 cases in the previous week.
The cumulative total of dengue cases this year until December 16 recorded a rise of 89.3%, to 117,505 cases from 62,060 cases in 2022, Health director-general Datuk Dr Muhammad Radzi Abu Hassan said.
The number of dengue fever cases increased by 11.2%, to 2,988 cases, in the 48th epidemiological week (ME48), from November 26 to December 2, compared with 2,686 cases reported in the previous week.
