The Attorney-General Chambers has rejected the representation submitted by Boustead Naval Shipyard Sdn Bhd managing director Tan Sri Ahmad Ramli Mohd Nor to drop three criminal breach of trust charges of the company’s fund totalling RM21.08 million involving the littoral combat ship project for the Royal Malaysian Navy.
The eye-watering RM9 billion littoral combat ships project courted controversy last year when multiple government and corporate reports outlined discrepancies behind the deal with main contractor Boustead Naval Shipyard and other companies.
