IOC allows Russian and Belarusian athletes to participate in Paris Olympics

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) decided Friday to allow Russian and Belarusian athletes to compete at the Paris Olympics as neutrals, without flags, emblems or anthems, Anadolu Agency (AA) reported.

Russian and Belarusian athletes will not compete in the Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, starting on September 23 after the International Olympic Committee (IOC) concluded that the plan was “not feasible”, reported German news agency (dpa).
