A total of 1,994 students have been accused of committing wrongdoings under the Universities and University Colleges Act (Auku) 1971 from 2018 to 2023, said Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Zambry Abdul Kadir.
Lawmakers across the political divide were united in their worries over a bill to amend the Universities and University Colleges Act (Auku) 1971, which was tabled in the Dewan Rakyat today.
Amendments to the controversial Universities and University Colleges Act 1971 (Auku) should be supported by both sides of the political divide as it will eventually lead to the abolishment of the act, said Universiti Malaya’s Angkatan Mahasiswa (Amum).
