These stellar performances over the weekend have solidified him in fifth place in the overall championship standings.

In the first race, the 16-year-old Terengganu lad demonstrated his skill and determination, completing the track with a time of 26 minutes and 26.843 seconds.

This result allowed him to ascend to the fifth spot in the championship rankings, setting a strong precedent for the weekend.

Race 2 unfolded smoothly for Hakim, where he displayed confidence in his machine and riding abilities, clocking in at 24m and 25.71s.

“Everything went smoothly today. During the race, I felt confident with my bike and stayed competitive in the leading group.

“We improved the bike setup from yesterday, and I could feel the difference,” said Hakim as he reflected on the race.

Despite a slight setback on the last lap when three riders overtook him at turn two, Hakim quickly regained his pace, finishing in sixth place.

“I tried to recover and, at the last corner, aimed for a slipstream. On the straight, I came very close to colliding with another rider but thankfully avoided it. I finished in sixth place,” he added.

His consistent performance at Mugello not only highlights his potential but also cements his reputation as a rising star in the Red Bull Rookies Cup.
