IPOH – Perak FC head coach Yusri Che Lah today said that he is unaware of the speculation surrounding the potential transfer of Terengganu FC midfielder Muhammad Faiz Nasir to strengthen Perak FC in the upcoming Malaysian League (M-League) campaign.

Yusri said that there have been no discussions at the moment with the 31-year-old former national player, who was dubbed as “Messi” from Pasir Mas, Kelantan.

“It’s only a rumour, and if you want to know more about the situation, you can ask the management because it falls under their jurisdiction,” he told Bernama when contacted.

There was speculation on social media linking Faiz, who played on loan at Kelantan United FC this season, with a move to Perak.

Faiz has extensive experience in the local football scene, having played for clubs such as Penang Water Supply Corporation Football Club, Felcra FC, Selangor FC, and Terengganu FC.

In addition, The Bos Gaurus has successfully signed two former under-23 national players, namely Tommy Mawat Bada from Negeri Sembilan FC and Nur Azfar Fikri Azhar, who played with Terengganu FC last season. – December 25, 2023
