KUALA LUMPUR – Arch Enemy fans in Malaysia can rejoice as the pioneering melodic death metal band is making a return to the country after more than a decade.

The renowned Swedish supergroup is scheduled to take the stage at Zepp KL on May 19 for the Kuala Lumpur leg of their Deceivers Asia Tour 2024.

Fans eagerly anticipating this long-awaited appearance were also delighted to receive the news via the band’s social media accounts, where Arch Enemy expressed their excitement about reconnecting with their devoted followers.

Founder and guitarist Michael Amott shared his enthusiasm in the caption, saying: “Returning to amazing Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia after 12 years. I have great memories from when the ‘Khaos Legions’ tour hit KL way back in 2012. Sorry it took so long to come back!”

“The race” to secure tickets for the event has already begun and they are available for purchase at www.myticket.asia

Ticket options include free-standing Platinum and Diamond zones, positioned directly facing the stage, priced at RM228 and RM298, respectively.

Additionally, seated Silver (RM258) and Gold (RM358) zones, along with VIP seating (RM498) in Zepp KL’s opera boxes, are also available. All prices exclude a RM10 processing fee and an additional RM5 ticketing fee.

Arch Enemy’s Deceivers Asia Tour 2024 extends beyond Malaysia, with scheduled performances in South Korea, China, Taiwan, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand.

A powerhouse in the global metal scene, Arch Enemy comprises members originally from other well-known bands, collaborating to create music that gives fans a “Reason to Believe.”

This tour marks a significant change for the band as it will be Arch Enemy’s first performance without guitarist Jeff Loomis, who exited the group after playing since 2014.

The tours will continue with his successor, Joey Concepcion. Amott and Concepcion join vocalist Alissa White-Gluz, bassist Sharlee D’Angelo, and drummer Daniel Erlandsson to form the quintet set to captivate audiences across Asia. – January 25, 2025
