In the video’s caption, @azrhazhr said that they took a second ride up an escalator to record Aoki in the restaurant.

Some commenters on the video believed Aoki was having a serving of nasi lemak, while others were envious of @azrhazhr’s once-in-a-lifetime encounter with a famous celebrity.

Aoki, whose real name is Steven Hiroyuki Aoki, was in Kuala Lumpur over the weekend to headline the Out of the World (OOTW) music and water festival, a three-day event from January 19 to 21, 2024, at the iconic KL Base in Sg Besi – an unforgettable locale for water enthusiasts and music connoisseurs alike.
