The 78-year-old singer-songwriter last performed in Asia some 15 years ago.

“It’s been 15 years since my last Asian tour, which is far too long! I truly cannot wait to return with a setlist of all my biggest hits and one of the most extraordinary productions of my career. It’s going to be quite a bash!” he was quoted as saying in the tour’s publicity material.

Kuala Lumpur will, in fact, be the first stop of his tour, which also includes Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, the Philippines, and Japan.

Maybank is the official sponsor of the concert at Axiata Arena.
