GUA MUSANG – Infrastructure development and improved basic infrastructure are among the main agenda items of Barisan Nasional (BN) for Kelantan if the people give their mandate to the unity government in this election.

According to Umno Supreme Council member Datuk Seri Abdul Rahman Mohamad, a change in the leadership of the state government is necessary to achieve that goal.

“If the state government is aligned with the central government, infrastructure development will become easier. Kelantan requires significant development, particularly in resolving its water supply and flood mitigation issues,” he told reporters at the launch of the BN machinery in Bukit Cekati, here, today.

Abdul Rahman, who is Deputy Public Works Minister, said roads are infrastructure for Kelantan, and the central spine road, which is currently being constructed by the federal government, would bring great benefits to the state when it is completed.

Regarding his presence in Gua Musang, Abdul, who is Kuala Lipis MP, said he had been given the responsibility of being the “foster father” for the Gua Musang parliamentary constituency and would help in the campaigns for the BN candidates contesting the three state seats in Gua Musang.

We will try our best to ensure victory for the three BN-Umno candidates in Gua Musang,  namely Abdul Aziz Yusoff for Nenggiri, Amran Ariffin (Paloh), and Mohd Syahbuddin Hashim (Galas), he added.

All three BN-Umno candidates are incumbents defending their respective seats in a two-corner fight against PAS candidates. – July 30, 2023
