Azman enters the position with experience of holding numerous high-profile leadership positions during his distinguished 36-year career, the company said in a statement today.

He was previously the managing director and CEO of PLUS Malaysia Bhd, where he was instrumental in leading key digital transformation initiatives. These efforts garnered significant recognition for the company, both domestically and internationally.

Reflecting on his past roles, the statement noted that Azman’s tenure at PLUS saw him make “a lasting impact, not only in Malaysia but also across the Asia Pacific region and on the global stage.”

His leadership at the toll highway operator was marked by a focus on change management and driving innovation.

Before PLUS, Azman was managing director at Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn Bhd. He also served as general manager for Shell’s retail business, overseeing petroleum retail operations in both Malaysia and Brunei.
