44 new schools to be built next year

Education ministry also gets RM64.1billion allocation, the highest to date

KUALA LUMPUR — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today said the government plans to build 44 new schools under Budget 2025.

While tabling the budget in Dewan Rakyat today, Anwar said that among the new schools that will be built are SK Bandar Putera Indah (Batu Pahat), SK Bandar Seri Putra (2) (Hulu Langat), SMK Kok Lawi (Putatan), SMK Semeling (Sungai Petani) and SK Dudong (Sibu).

The Education Ministry (MoE) received RM64.1 billion in allocation, which is the highest allocation ever received by the ministry to date. — October 18, 2024
