KUALA LUMPUR – Two police officers are now the subject of investigations after they allegedly hosted a private party on the premises of Shah Alam’s district police headquarters.

According to a China Press report yesterday, the Integrity and Standards Compliance Department (JIPS) found that both officers were from the Anti-Vice, Anti-Gambling and Secret Society Suppression division (D7).

JIPS was alerted to the incident following loud music coming from the D7 office.

During the raid on September 28 at 1.30am, authorities found both police personnel and three women in what appeared to be a “social gathering”.

Two of the women are understood to be Indonesians.

Further initial investigations found no illegal substances present during the party, only cakes and soft drinks.

The report also added that all five individuals were detained for questioning. – October 3, 2024
