Budget 2025 set to elevate living standards, drive national progress: Anwar

Prime Minister praises Ministry of Finance staff for their efforts in crafting the bold Madani Economy budget ahead of its October 18 presentation

KUALA LUMPUR — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has said that the upcoming Budget 2025 aims to improve living standards and promote national development.

In a recent social media post, Anwar shared that he visited the Ministry of Finance staff, who are diligently preparing the third Madani budget.

“God willing, with the presentation of Budget 2025 on October 18, Malaysia will advance one more step towards the vision of a bold and fair Madani Economy framework,” he said.

Anwar also expressed gratitude to civil servants for their dedication to preparing a comprehensive budget.

Budget 2025 is scheduled to be tabled in Parliament on October 18. — September 25, 2024
