KUALA LUMPUR – PODaBOOM, the podcast arm of Big Boom Media Sdn Bhd, proudly announces its latest addition to their lineup: The Next Drop.

This new podcast aims to shine a light on lesser-known products, services, and developments in Malaysia that go under the radar.

Following the success of their previous projects – political podcast Trick Lama and the ever-growing women-centric The WOW Show – The Next Drop promises to deliver insightful and engaging content highlighting topics and trends often overlooked by mainstream media.

Featured in this inaugural episode of The Next Drop is the Industrial Collaboration Programme (ICP), an initiative by the Finance Ministry (MoF) to assist businesses in contributing to national economic growth.

In the first two episodes, PODaBOOM’s Kyle Jacob speaks to representatives from the ICP’s purveyors, the Technology Depository Agency (TDA) and Setia Utama LRT 3 Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Malaysian Resources Corporation Bhd (MRCB), as well as some of its most successful participants, including the Institute of Engineers Malaysia (IEM), G Technologies Sdn Bhd, and Mayura Bumi Engineering Sdn Bhd.

These conversations provide listeners with an in-depth understanding of the ICP’s impact and the opportunities it creates for businesses.

One notable takeaway from these episodes is MRCB’s collaboration with Mahsa University to introduce environmentally friendly mosquito control kits aimed at combatting the spread of Aedes mosquitoes and lowering levels of dengue infections.

These kits have been installed in most LRT3 project sites, including the Centralised Labour Quarters (CLQ) and nearby residences. This initiative allows MRCB to fulfil its corporate social responsibility while caring for the environment without using harmful pesticides.
