KUALA LUMPUR – State road B66 from Jalan Batang Kali to Genting, which was closed after the tragic landslide at Father’s Organic Farm campsite nearly two years ago, will reopen this afternoon.

In a statement today, Hulu Selangor JKR announced that road users can access the route starting from 3pm.

The landslide, which occurred on December 16, 2022, claimed 31 lives, causing the Works Ministry to close the Batang Kali-Genting Highlands road for a year to facilitate slope and road repairs at the landslide site.

In addition, Hulu Selangor JKR conducted road surfacing work on the B66 route from Batang Kali to Genting from May 27 to 29 last month.
