Firefighters rescue unconscious man in car parked at KK mall

Individual was taken to Queen Elizabeth 2 Hospital for treatment after Fire Dept received call believed to be from member of the public

KUALA LUMPUR – A man in his 30s was found unconscious in a car at the City Mall parking lot in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah today.

In a statement, Lintas Fire and Rescue officer Stanley Peliment said the station received a distress call through MERS999 at 12.35pm today, believed to be made by a member of the public.

The man was found unconscious in a Perodua Myvi car and was rescued by four firefighters.

After receiving preliminary care from the Emergency Medical Rescue Services Unit, he was taken to Queen Elizabeth 2 Hospital for further treatment. – June 27, 2024
