KUALA LUMPUR – In the world of politics, there are no new tricks.

Revived from its former incarnation as “GBU” (The Good, The Bad and The Ugly), the podcast now known as “Trick Lama” is back and better than ever.

It is once again spearheaded by the experienced trio of Big Boom Media CEO Datuk Zainul Arifin Mohammed Isa, Group Executive Director Datuk Ahirudin Attan (better known as Rocky Bru), and Group Editor-in-Chief Terence Fernandez.

Collectively, Trick Lama features the three seasoned journalists, who have access to key players shaping the nation’s socio-political and economic landscape.

In the first episode, Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil discusses Malaysia’s ranking on the World Press Freedom Index, the banning of content on TikTok, and the miscommunication, discommunication, and lack of communication from various ministries in the unity government.

He also shares his thoughts on the future of PKR and personal aspirations for his political career.

Through dynamic discussions with headline-makers, Trick Lama dives deep into Malaysian news, current affairs, and the latest political intrigues right from our own backyard.

Trick Lama is accessible on top platforms such as Spotify, YouTube, and all major social media channels. Join us as we navigate and unpack the complexities of Malaysia’s evolving landscape together. – May 24, 2024
