KUALA LUMPUR – The one-day MyCity Pass for unlimited use of city rail and bus services will cost one ringgit more from tomorrow, Prasarana announced.

The one-day pass – programmed into Touch ’n Go cards – is currently priced at RM5, but it will be increased to RM6 from tomorrow for Malaysians, and RM10 for foreigners.

Meanwhile, the price for the three-day MyCity Pass remains the same for Malaysians at RM15, and will be reintroduced tomorrow to foreigners at RM25.

Prasarana is bringing back the pass for foreigners in view of greater tourism activity in the capital and Klang Valley as the economy recovers, it said in a statement today.

“The streamlining of prices is also in line with moves to extend public transport rail services in the Klang Valley to include the Putrajaya MRT line and in anticipation of the Shah Alam LRT line which will begin service early next year,” Prasarana said.

The one and three-day passes are useable on all LRT, MRT, Monorail, BRT, Rapid Bus as well as LRT and MRT feeder buses.

The passes can be bought using Touch n’ Go card at ticketing counters for the above services, at selected bus stations, and through the MyRapid PULSE app. – March 7, 2024
