71-year-old man found dead on Pandan Indah building rooftop

Fire Dept responding to report of incident, found man unconscious upon arrival

KUALA LUMPUR – A 71-year-old man was found dead on the rooftop of a Pandan Indah shophouse last night.

In a statement today, the Fire and Rescue Department said a team from the Pandan Fire and Rescue Station was dispatched to a shophouse at Taman Pandan Cahaya following a report of the incident around 7pm.

“Upon arrival, the team discovered an unconscious man on the rooftop of the building,” the statement read.

Health Ministry personnel confirmed that the man had passed away, the department said.

It also added that the man’s body was brought down and handed over to the police for further action. – February 17, 2024
