KUALA LUMPUR – Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari was caught off guard when he received a notice that he had been issued a parking summons by Subang Jaya City Council.

“I suddenly got a brief message, a parking summons from @SJcitycouncil,” said Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari.

His summons was issued on January 4 but he said he had already paid a fine of RM80 via an online transaction.

“I paid the fine in less than five minutes. Since 2019, almost all fines and payments to local councils in the state can be made online,” he tweeted.
