KUALA LUMPUR – Former PKR Wanita information chief Syarul Ema Rena Abu Samah has been summoned once again by the police tomorrow (November 3).

Syarul, better known by the moniker “Ratu Naga”, was instructed to present herself to the Brickfields police headquarters at 10am.

In a brief posting on Facebook, Syarul – who is now a Perikatan Nasional (PN) content creator said it was related to a post that allegedly slandered the prime minister’s wife and Bandar Tun Razak MP Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail.

“I was summoned to present myself to the Brickfields for the same status on another platform on Friday, November 3, 2023, at 10am,” she noted

Syarul had previously mentioned that the post in question involved Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Instagram account, which uploaded pictures of UN General Assembly leaders and their wives, including Dr Wan Azizah, at an afternoon tea event.

Also present at the event were Netanyahu’s wife, Sara Netanyahu, and US President Joe Biden’s wife, Jill Biden.

A few days ago, police had summoned Syarul for investigations into reports on social media posts allegedly slandering Wan Azizah

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain confirmed that she had appeared at Bukit Aman to record her statement, but was not cooperative when answering 33 questions in police inquiry.

Subsequently, Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department chief Datuk Seri Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain said an unnamed suspect in the investigation had refused to surrender computerised data.

On October 23, PKR members filed four police reports against several social media account owners who allegedly defamed Wan Azizah, by associating her with Israel. – November 2, 2023
