KUALA LUMPUR – The planned closure of Jalan Sg Besi towards Sg Besi and Petaling Jaya (in front of Fraser Business Park) and Loke Yew roundabout beginning tomorrow has been postponed, according to Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL).

DBKL, in a statement today, said road users can continue travelling on this route as usual.

“The media statement dated August 1, 2023, by DBKL on the road closure scheduled to begin on August 5, 2023, until August 4, 2024, has been cancelled,” said the statement.

However, DBKL did not say how long the road closure postponement is.

According to DBKL’s earlier statement, that route would be closed to enable renovation and bridge construction works at the Loke Yew roundabout. – August 4, 2023
