Photo of the day: Food truck entrepreneur thrives amid looming diesel subsidy rationalisation

10:35 PM MYT

A food truck entrepreneur is busy with business in Sungai Besi as the government announces plans to introduce targeted subsidies involving diesel fuel.

This diesel-powered truck is fully equipped to prepare, cook, and serve delicious meals on the move, making it a breeze to reach prime locations.

Initially, the diesel subsidy programme will focus solely on users in Peninsular Malaysia, excluding those in Sabah and Sarawak.

However, the government has pledged to provide cash assistance to eligible individual diesel vehicle owners, including small farmers, rice growers, and small traders. – May 23, 2024
