Photo of the day: EPF office overwhelmed as Account 3 transfers attract crowd

DROVES of people queue at the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) office at Jalan Raja Laut today to initiate the transfer process from the Sejahtera Account to the newly launched Flexible Account (Account 3).  

After the transfer is successful, withdrawals from the EPF Flexible Account can be made at any time with a minimum withdrawal limit of RM50, subjected to the member’s account balance. 

According to EPF, payments will be credited directly to the member’s bank account. Contributors are allowed to make the account transfer selection only once during the period from May 11 to August 31. – May 13, 2024
