KUALA LUMPUR – “I’ve never seen an angel in real life before, but yesterday, I did.”

That was how one witness described a woman’s extraordinary act of kindness and courage following a motorcycle accident near the Tg Kupang toll.

The accident, which happened around 6.40pm presumably on January 7, involved two motorcycles. When the witness arrived, two riders were lying on the road. One of them, reportedly a 68-year-old man from Singapore, was seriously injured.

“He was bleeding heavily from his face and arms. The blood just wouldn’t stop,” the witness recounted in a social media post.

As several motorcyclists stopped to help, the witness saw a Malay woman, who was riding a scooter, step forward.

“She didn’t hesitate for a second. She immediately knelt beside the uncle and started giving him emergency aid. The way she handled him – it was like she was taking care of her own father,” the witness, known as Muhammad Shahideenn, said.

The woman’s clothes and hands were soon soaked with blood, but she remained focused, speaking calmly to the elderly man to keep him conscious.

“Even though he looked like he might pass out, she didn’t give up. She just kept trying to help and kept reassuring him,” the witness shared.

Others at the scene helped move the motorcycles, but the woman stayed by the man’s side until the ambulance arrived. Once the man was safely taken to the hospital, the woman quietly left the scene without revealing her name.

“I don’t know who she is or where she came from, but I’m certain she was sent by God,” the witness said, their voice filled with emotion. To her parents, if you’re reading this, I just want to say: your daughter is truly an angel,”

“Thank you, Akak Scooter,” he said in the post.
