KUALA LUMPUR – PT TransNusa Aviation Mandiri (TransNusa), one of the two foreign airlines approved to start flights from Sultan Abdul Aziz Airport, will commence daily international flights from Subang to Jakarta on August 1.
TransNusa group chief executive officer Datuk Bernard Francis said the airline will start with one daily flight (8B 698) from Subang Airport to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, departing at 7.30pm Malaysian time and arriving at 8.30pm Indonesian time.
The return flight (8B 699) will depart Jakarta at 4.10pm (Indonesian time) and arrive in Subang at 7pm (Malaysian time).
“TransNusa will utilise its A320 narrow-body airliner, which has 174 seats, for the two-hour scheduled flight starting August 1,” he said in a statement.
Tickets will be priced from RM299 one way.
Francis added that the airline will continue operating three daily flights to Kuala Lumpur International Airport and four weekly flights to Johor Bahru.
TransNusa, which ceased operations in September 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, resumed operations in October 2022 with new shareholders and a new management team. – July 15, 2024
