KUALA LUMPUR – Join us in reflecting on the true meaning of Hari Raya Aidilfitri with heartfelt messages from Malaysians. As we celebrate this joyous occasion, let us not forget those in Palestine who are enduring unimaginable suffering.

This open letter expresses deep empathy and solidarity with the Palestinians during this festive season. Together, let us stand in solidarity, remembering that Aidilfitri is a time for reflection, forgiveness, and unity.

As of April 8, at least 33,207 Palestinians have been killed and 75,750 wounded in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry. The death toll in Israel stands at 1,139, with dozens still held captive. – April 9, 2024
