Newborn dead after tossed from Sri Petaling condominium, say cops

Police actively pursuing suspects behind incident

KUALA LUMPUR – A recently born baby boy, still connected by the umbilical cord, was found dead after reportedly being thrown from a high floor of a condominium near Sri Petaling today.

Brickfields district police chief Ku Mashariman Ku Mahmood said police received information about the incident from the public at 2.30pm.

“The baby is believed to have been tossed from the top of a condominium building in Sri Petaling, resulting in a fractured skull.

“Initial investigations indicate that the baby had just been delivered,” he said in a brief statement.

He added that ongoing investigations included tracking down suspects involved in the incident. – March 9, 2024
