KTM Komuter train kills three foreign men who trespassed on tracks

Selangor Fire Dept reports incident happened 10.53pm last night at Taman Puncak Utama Jade Hill

KUALA LUMPUR – A KTM Komuter train killed three foreigners who trespassed railway tracks at Taman Puncak Utama Jade Hill, Kajang, Selangor, last night. 

Their bodies were found intact by the side of the tracks after the incident which occurred at 10.53pm, Selangor Fire and Rescue Department said in a statement. 

Health Ministry officials who were at the scene together with police have confirmed that the victims were men from Bangladesh in their 30s and 40s.

It is believed that the men trespassed on the tracks before the train ran into them. 

Five members of the fire and rescue department in Kajang rushed to the scene after receiving an emergency call. 

The victims’ bodies have been handed over to the police for further action. – March 4, 2024
