AirAsia’s 8-hour flash sale: grab RM88 fares to Almaty, Kazakhstan today

All-inclusive one-way offer available for booking from 10am to 6pm

KUALA LUMPUR – AirAsia is offering a flash sale to Almaty in Kazakhstan, starting at RM88 for an all-in one-way fare.

The flash sale runs from 10am to 6pm today.

In a statement, the budget carrier said the flight from Kuala Lumpur to Almaty will depart at 12.50pm, while the flight from Almaty to Kuala Lumpur will depart at 8.05pm every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday for both routes. 

On November 23, 2023, AirAsia X Bhd (AAX) announced that it was set to expand to Central Asia as the first Malaysian airline to fly directly to Almaty, commencing March 14, 2024.

AAX chief executive officer Benyamin Ismail said Kazakhstan is a new destination for AAX, which is in high demand and this flash sale exemplifies the company’s commitment to making travel accessible and affordable for everyone.

“Similarly, we anticipate high demand from Almaty, both for students and for leisure travellers wishing to explore Kuala Lumpur, which is considered a cultural melting pot and a popular tourism destination,” he said. 

The promotional fare is available for booking on the airasia Superapp or the airline’s website for the travel period starting March 14 to October 26, 2024. – February 16, 2024
