Kapar air crash: K-9 dogs deployed to aid search 

Plane, reportedly flown by two pilots, had crashed next to two houses in Kg Tok Muda

KLANG – Two K-9 unit dogs have been deployed to assist in the search-and-rescue operation at the site of a crashed light aircraft in Kg Tok Muda, Kapar.

Based on Scoop’s observation, the area is under tight police security, with ongoing search operations conducted by officers from the Fire and Rescue Department.

The aircraft, which was reportedly flown by two pilots, had crashed next to two houses here. 

Earlier, Selangor deputy police chief Datuk Sasikala Devi Subramaniam arrived at the scene at around 4.13pm to oversee the operation.

Members of the media are still waiting for updates on the incident as well as the operation carried out by authorities.

Earlier, the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) confirmed that there were two individuals on board the aircraft, including one pilot.

No distress calls were recorded from the BK160 Gabriel light aircraft that crashed, the CAAM said.

The aircraft was reported to have crashed in the afternoon. The Fire and Rescue Department received a report on the incident at 1.56pm. 

Firefighters arrived at the scene around 20 minutes later. – February 13, 2024
