SHAH ALAM – The search operation for victims involving a plane crash on the Guthrie Highway near Bandar Elmina here is nearly complete.

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain said they are about 95% complete with investigations and search for remains.

“Our search here has (almost) concluded. There are only final processes to clear (the scene) and discover any human remains,” he told a press conference near the search site today.

The remaining 5% are locations the police have not searched, such as underneath cars, Razaruddin added.
