KUALA LUMPUR – King of Mandopop Jay Chou will return to Malaysia on October 26 for a one-night only concert at Bukit Jalil National Stadium here.

This is part of Chou’s Carnival World Tour, while the last time the Taiwanese singer-songwriter was in Malaysia was on January 15, 2023.

It is the eighth concert tour that started in Shanghai in October 2019 but was disrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic.

His concerts reportedly boost economic and tourism activities in the cities they are held in.

The 45-year-old will also head to Singapore for three days, from October 11 to 13.

Other cities on his tour include China’s Fuzhou (May 16 to 19), Changsha (May 30 to June 2), Shenzhen (September 12 to 15), and Nanjing (September 26 to 29).

Ticket pricing and sales will be announced later.

Chou earned his moniker after having sold more than 30 million records so far.

His last album, Greatest Works of Art, was released in 2022 and was described as a homage to modern European art and culture. – April 27, 2024
