The four crew members on board the HOM (M503-3) were Squadron 503’s Muhammad Firdaus Ramli, Wan Rezaudeen Kamal Wan Zainal Abidin, Mohammad Amirulfaris Mohamad Marzukhi, and Muhammad Faisol Tamadun.

The passengers on board the HOM (M503-3) were Noorfarahimi Mohd Saedy, Noor Rahiza Anuar, and Joanna Felicia Anak Rohna.

“Funeral arrangements will be carried out in the nearest time according to navy tradition,” the statement read.

Earlier, the navy confirmed that both helicopters collided and crashed at the RMN stadium in Lumut at 9.32am after taking off from the Sitiawan field at 9.03am.

The helicopters were making a flypast when rehearsing for a parade to be held in conjunction with the RMN’s 90th anniversary early next month.

The navy has since said that it will establish an investigation board to determine the cause of the incident. – April 23, 2024
