Photo of the Day: Chopper crash victim Shahrizan laid to rest near family home

TONIGHT, the late Mohd Shahrizan Mohd Termizi, aged 41, was laid to rest in the Batu 10 Lekir Muslim Cemetery in Perak, situated beside his family home. 

He was one of the 10 victims tragically involved in the crash between two helicopters at the Royal Malaysian Navy base in Lumut, Perak, yesterday.

Shahrizan, newly married and the only son in his family, was bid farewell amid an atmosphere heavy with sorrow. 

Over 200 family members, friends, neighbours, as well as navy members and officers, gathered to pay their respects at the cemetery. – April 24, 2024
